Yobe Desert Stars Technical Adviser Ernest Jupiter has declared that Thursday’s final Group A fixture in the NNL Super 8 Promotion Playoffs against Wikki Tourists at Asaba’s Stephen Keshi Stadium is a must-win in their quest to return to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

Jupiter’s side currently top the group with four points, thanks to a stunning comeback victory over Doma United on Monday. Trailing at half-time, they rallied to win 2–1 and now sit tantalisingly close to securing promotion.

Speaking after the Doma match, the coach remained unshaken by the first-half deficit, telling his team "If Doma United could score one in the first half, we too can score one or even more in the second half." His composed leadership translated into a dramatic turnaround, setting the stage for Thursday’s showdown.
With momentum on their side, Jupiter believes victory is within reach "We’re winning the match against Wikki Tourists on Thursday. We’ll win the game and complete our return to the Premiership." His determination now turns to execution on the pitch.
