JetBlue flight attendants threatened to call the police as passengers tried to pull down their luggage from overhead while the plane was still in the air.
A TikTok video captured the chaotic moment on a flight from LaGuardia Airport in New York to Fort Lauderdale Airport in Florida Sunday when passengers left their seats to collect luggage while landing.
Many were eager to make a connecting flight to Quito, budget limo jersey city El Salvador.
In the TikTok video, the frustrated flight attendant was heard telling passengers to sit down and close the overhead bins.
TikTok user Green-Walker, who recorded the incident, said some of those who had tried to get their bags first then wouldn't allow other passengers off the plane.
'The young lady sitting next to me was on the Quito flight and the rude passengers wouldn't even let her through to get bag,' she said.
It's unclear whether police were called. JetBlue is yet to respond to DailyMail.com's inquiries.
Once the plane had landed, the flight attendants intended to let 22 connecting passenger off first.
But when more than 22 stood up and tried to exit the plane, those who were connecting actually ended up missing their flights, she said.
Green-Walker's two videos have drawn tens of thousand of likes and hundreds of reactions.
'I wish people understood WHY it's dangerous to pull bags from overhead bins while landing,' one wrote.
Green-Walker responded: 'Yes especially when one bag almost fell on a person.
The flight attendant was just livid.'

Many also shared their own terrible landing experience under Green-Walker's video.
'Had a woman stand up to use the restroom WHILE landing, gear was down, ground was approaching...I was ready to watch her fly,' @Kat H wrote.
'Like when they say prepare the cabin for landing and then all of a sudden everyone has to use the bathroom,' @Four4For wrote.
Some people suggested the airline should assign front seats to passengers with connecting flights or let people off the plane row by row.
